How To Prepare Moi Moi

Moi Moi is a steamed bean pudding Nigerian food made from a mixture of different ingredients which are: peeled beans (brown beans are best for it) onions fresh peppers

and powdered spices (according to your choice). These above-listed ingredients are the basic ingredients for Moi Moi, some add egg, fish, meat, green leafy vegetables. It is a protein-rich food.

Preparation
  1. Soak beans in water (water at room temperature) for 5 minutes
  2. Rub the beans with your hands to remove the coats from the seeds
  3. Sieve the coats and water from the seeds
  4. Add pepper, tatashe, crayfish, onions (peel off the back), ginger (peel off the back ), nutmeg (break into pieces), small water and blend together. 
  5. add salt, groundnut oil and spices to taste to it, stir till everything becomes one
  6. boil water (optional)
  7. use polythene bag or foil or local leaf to package the mixture
  8. put it in the hot water inside a pot or put it inside pot pour the hot water into it and cook or cook with normal water
  9. cook for 45 minutes or 1 hour depending on the cooker (stove, gas, hot plate, etc) and fuel (gas, kerosene, electricity, firewood) you are using. https://youtu.be/ZQeT0uq7txg
